HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!

A couple of weeks ago, I was at Walgreens with Cin and Ashlyn. Ashlyn and I were browsing the Valentine goodies aisle…and Ashlyn ooh-ed and ahh-ed over the display of boxed Valentine’s Day cards (the kind you pass out in elementary school). I thought I’d let her pick out a box to pass out to her cousins and all her “aunties” and “uncles”.
Of the entire wall, displaying cute characters such as Hello Kitty, Barbie, Disney’s Princesses, Dora the Explorer, Sesame Street, Winnie the Pooh, Powerpuff Girls, etc…she insisted on Bob the Builder cards!

I decided to turn the shopping cart around and forgo the Valentine’s Day cards this year.

I really hope my next daughter is more girly. hehehehe
