Saturday~
The weather is starting to really warm up. I spent the day with Marisa and Ashlyn. We ran errands, had lunch, and watched “Alice in Wonderland” on DVD. Knitting kept me occupied for most of the day (as you may have noticed in previous posts)…then Cin and Matty came over to hang out.
While the kiddies napped, we watched “Rush Hour 2″. Cin tried her hand at knitting as well, although I don’t think I’m a very good teacher at all.
I can do, but I can’t teach.

For dinner, we went to this new Korean restaurant in San Jose’s Japantown. The food and service was really good…it was just a shame that not many people know about this place, and we were practically the only ones in the entire restaurant. So allow me to spread the word….and tell ‘em Peg sent ya! hehehehe

After dinner, Cin, Matty, Marisa, Ashlyn, and I wanted to rent the “School of Rock” DVD. Every video-rental location within a 10 mile radius was completely out. It made us want to watch it even more. In a desperate attempt, Cin and I dashed into Target in search of the movie. “School of Rock” was all sold out on the ‘new release’ shelf. By chance I found it on a smaller display…AND it was on sale for $15.99!!! < --that's cheaper than Costco! Needless to say, we spent the rest of the night watching the movie with ice cream and popcorn.
Jack Black, as always, is hysterically erratic. I find him naturally comedic, down-to-earth, and extremely talented. He's awesome!

Sunday~

The weather was really breathtaking today…reaching the mid- 70’s! I spent the entire day with my mom, niece, and daughter.
We were invited to my mom’s friend’s BBQ on his 250-acre farm/ranch in Almaden. On his property, he built a beautiful ranch-house complete with a large deck overlooking a pond. He also has several farm animals: cows, horses, dogs, chickens. rabbits, pigeons, etc…
Mom, Marisa, and Ashlyn, and I had such a great time visiting with each animal….especially the critters we can touch and hold.
After leaving the BBQ, we stopped off at Costco for some shopping. I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening relaxing on the couch, watching TV, and even squeezing in a nap. *thumbs up!* Sis came over and we had a nice dinner at home. It was a very nice weekend!
By the way, I think I’m addicted to knitting.
I didn’t knit all day and my hands are itching to start a new project.
