I was thunderstruck when I glanced at my hit counter earlier:

my hit counter

Peg: *excitedly* “Woo-hoo! Look, Ashlyn, look at Mommy’s counter!”

my lil' cheerleader

Ashlyn: *humoring me* “Wow!..YAY!”
*sigh* She’s so cute!

This is most flattering. I can no longer keep track of ALL the people who visit my site anymore.
It’s spawned a life of it’s own.
However, I am grateful for your encouragement, support, loyalty, and time. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting (online and in person) so many wonderful friends through this.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

#99 Brazilia Pompon

YAY! I’m back to using my bamboo needles and a fun yarn! This scarf didn’t take me long to finish (an evening of watching “Le Divorce” on DVD).
The benefit of working with bigger needles and fuzzier yarns is being able to see the fruits of your labor almost instantly.

    YARN:

Schachenmayr Nomotta Brazilia Pompon in #99

    LENGTH & COST:

120 yards at $14.50

    MATERIAL:

100% Polyester

    NEEDLE:

Bamboo 10″, Size 15

    PEG’S 2 CENTS:

This yarn was easy to use. It was double-threaded…incorporating fuzzy lash-like strands with little balls of color. I really love the white, steel, and blue colors against the black. Very dramatic.
