My in-laws got in shortly before midnight last night. We stayed up talking for an hour and a half before calling it a night.
Ashlyn was really surprised and overjoyed to see her grandfather and Netty this morning! Lucky girl was spoiled with lots of gifts (pretty clothes and cool toys). The new baby got lots of loot, too! 
We had a nice leisurely brunch at Baker’s Square, and spent the afternoon catching up, playing with Ashlyn, and enjoying the beautiful weather.
I was so disappointed to find out that my in-laws were planning to leave before dinner. 
What a short visit!…they basically spent the same amount of time here, as they did on the roadtrip here and back. *pout* Unexpectedly, Netty found out that she was understaffed at the Sunday School where she volunteers, so they needed to be back pronto.
What I found endearing was….they TOTALLY thought it was worth it!

Tonight, Ashlyn and I had dinner with Wil, Tony, Emery, Em, and Wing at Red Robin. Dinner was yummy….Red Robin bottomless steak fries are awesome! Everyone came over to hang out a bit before heading out for a night on the town.
I’m pooped! I’ve already changed into my pjs and am planning on retiring to bed early.
