Saturday~

Century Theaters at The Great Mall
Spent a funfilled day with Wil and Tony. We had lunch at Do Rae Mi, and spontaneously and adventurously decided to take in a showing of “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” at The Great Mall.
It’s been ages since I last saw a movie at the theaters (last year to be exact…”Finding Nemo” in August and “X-Men 2″ in May).
I was a bit worried about Ashlyn being able to sit through a 2 hour 19 minute movie that’s not animated. Especially when she kept repeating, “I don’t like Harry Pottah…I want to go home!” prior. But once the theater darkened and previews started, she sat quietly on her auntie’s lap completely engaged. *whew!* Summer slept through most of the movie and woke up once to eat.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Great story development, awesome special effects, and very entertaining…not to mention - Harry, Ron, and Hermione are all growns up! hehehe

Afterwards, we walked around the mall, shopped, had dinner, then went home.
Spent the rest of the evening with the family watching “Once Upon a Time in Mexico”. I must have been super tired because I dozed through a third of the movie.
hehehehe
Sunday~

Ashlyn, Summer, and I spent the day with Ivy, Oli, and Ivy’s parents at the outlet stores in Gilroy….ate at In-N-Out, shopped, and walked a lot.
We spent the evening hanging out and having dinner at Ivy’s parent’s house. The weather was gorgeous, and we all had a fabulous time.

Both days, I didn’t expect to be out for so long. Leaving the conveniences and comforts of home can feel quite daunting….but I had a lot of help and both girls were on their best behaviors. AMAZING! Wish they could always be that way. ![]()
It was good to get out….had on some non-maternity clothes and a bit of make-up…felt a bit of my old self again.
Hope you had a super weekend as well!
