Honestly, do you really want to read about my cruise?…or would seeing pictures be enough?

Out of 1,737 pictures my family and I took, I put together an album I’m comfortable sharing with everyone.

Highlights of our cruise/trip:
- The Norwegian Star’s upscale cruise liner
- “Freestyle” dining
- seeing cliffdivers in Acapulco
- swimming in the gorgeous lagoons of Zihuatanejo
- banana boating with my nieces
- parasailing in Puerto Vallarta! unbelievably adventurous of me!
- seeing familiar sights of Cabo San Lucas and being able to share them with Aric
- having unlimited bacon and cream of wheat for breakfast everyday! YUM!
- tons of great food, great fun, great laughs with great company!

Lowlights of our cruise/trip:
- Ashlyn, Summer, and I caught a cold on the second day
- Ashlyn projectile-vomitted 5 minutes into our bus tour in Acapulco. I’m sure the whole bus hated us because the bus reeked!!! HAHAHA!
- not really being able to enjoy the nightlife on the cruise ship. Oh well….next time.

This cruise was an amazing treat that I will cherish for years to come. Reason being, this was the first vacation my parents took with all three daughters, son-in-laws, and granddaughters. With everyone’s busy/conflicting schedules, an opportunity like this may never come again.
I had the best time and a very memorable Thanksgiving. MY FAMILY ROCKS!!!

Strangely enough, it was kinda weird being in our home again….all together (even for Aric). We have not been there together since January. Though it’s our home, we now share it with my brother-in-law (Patrick’s been generously taking care of our house all this time).
I tried not to get too comfortable or settled while we were there….knowing that we’ll be leaving our place once again.
Hopefully the next time we return, it will be for good.

Ashlyn had a great time frolicking in her bedroom, rediscovering her old toys and books. During our stay, Ashlyn slept in her own room everynight, and each morning she would wake up scared and crying. Something we’ll have to work on when we move back.

As always, we tried visiting with family and friends as much as we could. Here are some random pictures from our visit:

- Seeing our friends, their lil??? ones, and meeting Baby Erin!

- Oscar???s Spinach Salad
- Alberto’s carne asada burritos.
- Took in a matinee of “The Incredibles”. Awesome movie and Summer sat quietly throughout!!!
- LA Zoo
- Celebrated Karis’ 2nd birthday.

We had an amazing time. Aric and I tried to see and do as much as we possibly could with two little ones…at the same time, we were able to relax, rest, and reconnect. This was Summer’s first trip and experience on an airplane. I’m so happy (and lucky) to say that she was a very pleasant traveler. Both girls seemed to really enjoy themselves: playing hard, eating heartily, and sleeping deeply every day/night!

It was exactly what I needed after months of not being myself. The warmth, the beauty, and peacefulness of paradise did wonders for me. *SIGH* It was PERFECT!
A NEVER-ENDING THANKS to Aric for always spoiling and loving me.

- glass bottom boat tour
- 2 hour helicopter tour of the active volcanos and the entire island (and that both kiddies quietly slept through it!). HA!
- watching the sunset every night
- Atlantis submarine tour
- Luau
- enjoying a 4 hour spa treatment! *AHHHH!*
- relaxing with Aric and the kids

Lowlights of our trip:
- being pulled aside for a secondary inspection at the airport (both going and returning).
- enduring extremely turbulent flights to and from
