Aric picked us up Friday afternoon, after an exhausting 20-hour journey home (Taipei to Narita to San Francisco to LA). I can’t tell you how happy and relieved to have made it back in one piece. Although we had an unforgettable time in Tawian, the flights (to and from) were nightmarish. My best friend’s unexpected visit made for a really warm homecoming. Bett, Chew, Aric, the kiddies, and I had an early dinner at Pat & Oscar’s and hung out at home. My head was kinda buzzing and numb from being so tired, so we called it an early night (little did I know that Summer would be keeping me up till morning with her whacked sleeping schedule). 
Saturday, we all woke up around noon and arrived late to Karis’ birthday party. Nevertheless, it was nice to see/be with all our friends again. We stayed at Sam and Patti’s till pretty late. The kids had a great time and both fell asleep on the way home (once again, Summer woke up around 1am and didn’t go back to bed till 5am!)
Sunday, Summer and I slept in till 2pm. We ran some errands and bought groceries to fill our empty fridge. I did three loads of laundry, finished unpacking, uploaded some pictures, watched TV, and attempted to put the kiddies down to bed.
So that pretty much sums up my weekend. Still working on my trip update (please be patient).:mrgreen:
