The fire continues to rage on and has consumed 3,500 acres already. They’ve currently contained 7% of the blaze and evacuated more than 2,100 homes. I’m still tuning in on the latest updates….hoping it doesn’t get worse.
The air outside is really dry, hot, and smells of campfire. Unlike yesterday’s puffy gray/white smokey clouds, a curtain of thick gray smoke covers most of the sky today. Ashes float down on our neighborhood like snow. ![]()

Glad you’re all okay! This reminds me of the wildfires we had out our way not too long ago. We were never in danger, but all that ash!!! And the awful air!!! Good luck with clean up. Also, HEPA filters work really well.

wow! that looks like some bad air! I suggest replacing the whole house filter and inspecting the car’s cabin and engine filter too, and stay indoors!
