We’ve been watching the news, and there are fires everywhere tonight. Seven, to be exact…spreading all around the Southern California area! It’s very frightening. The strong Santa Ana winds are not helping either.

I’m trying to stay calm, but it’s difficult when you hear how hard the winds are blowing outside and seeing how quickly the fire is moving.
The girls are sleeping soundly right now, but before my older one went to bed:
Ashlyn: “I hope the fire doesn’t come to our house…because I don’t want us to die.”
Peg: 
“…it wont….we won’t.”
I’m not that religious, but let us pray now.

oh my. I hope that you’re safe. A friend of mine who is staying in San Diego is fleeing the fires, at demand of the law. She said it just looks scary out there. Be safe!

my heart goes out to u..i couldnt imagine that kind of helpless fear,, u and your are in my prayers… i hope this will all be ok, as ok as it can be….

Aric just pointed me to look at your post. YIKES! the fire is so close to your house!! I’m glad to see your family and house is alright. *whew!*
