03.02.02

Today Ashlyn and I ran errands. I had to drop something off at the post office and pick up some stamps, but that place was a zoo! It was completely crowded, but no one was really standing in line. I asked some random guy if he was in line, and he said, "No, you have to grab a number. But I have to warn you...I've been waiting here for an hour!" So I decided to just put stamps on my parcel and drop it through the slot. But that seemingly easy task made me a bit apprehensive. I mean, if it were so easy, why didn't everyone else do it??? Well, I had to assume they were all waiting to send something certified or something. *shrug* My next stop was Macys. With many upcoming weddings, I thought I'd get first dibs off everyone's registry. hehehe
I was reminded again why I don't like shopping alone with Ashlyn...I don't have enough arms to carry lots of bulky items AND manuever the stroller. The sales guy was kind enough to take some of the bigger items up to Gift Wrap for me. But getting it all to the car was really tough! Aric got back from school around the same time I did, and we both said in unison, "I NEED A NAP!" While Aric and Ashlyn napped, I got some stuff done around the house.

Tonight Jeff is throwing a party for Toshi at Musha's in Torrance. We wanted to go...but Aric's getting up pretty damn early for the LA Marathon tomorrow, so we decided it would be best to stay in. I mean, had we stopped by, it would ultimately end up with all the guys drinking with Tosh shot for shot, and Aric may never make it up in time for tomorrow's bike-ride. So instead, Aric, Ashlyn, and I spent an exciting night watching TV...then headed up for bed around 9:30pm.
