06.30.02 Aric, Ashlyn, and I slept in. We would probably have slept longer if I didn't already have plans to see my old coworker, Mary. Mary and her husband, Vince, drove into town this morning and we got together for lunch. It was a bright warm day and we took them to the Spectrum for lunch. We tried this newly opened Japanese restaurant -Maki Maki. From 11am to 2pm sundays, they have an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Brunch. The sushi is made fresh to order, and they offer a wide variety of fresh seafood at the buffet line. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a nice leisurely lunch. Afterwards, we walked around the Spectrum and checked out all the kiosks, watched kids play in the fountains, and I had a chance to catch up with Mary. =D
We
came back to the house and chilled for a bit. Mary and Vince stuck around
to watch our wedding video and then headed up to LA so they could check
into their hotel. Aric, Ashlyn, and I spent the rest of the day relaxing
at home. I finally cleaned up the guest room upstairs and put stuff
away. The painter is coming bright and early tomorrow morning to start
on the interior on the house. I got hooked on this really addictive game tonight called "Collapse" on MSN games. I spent a good couple of hours playing that. *ugh* What a waste of time. I watched "Along Came a Spider" and "Bless The Child" on digital cable. Ashlyn got a bath then went to bed, and Aric and stayed up and worked on our own stuff. What a nice weekend! I can't believe it's already the end of the month! Wow...quick. Hope you all had a great weekend.
