The countdown to my cruise: 4 days till departure! =)

Today was a mellow day. Ashlyn and I stayed home and took it easy. I'm trying to get over this cold, but it feels like it's getting worse. =/ *Ugh!* And now that I finally caught up on posting my journals, I'm not in much of a journaling mood. Surprisingly, this week is going by pretty quick. I still have much to do before my trip.

My girlfriends and I took our first trip together a couple of years ago to Cancun (click here to see pictures). That was really fun and relaxing. Last summer, Ivy, Wil, and Cin went on a trip to Taiwan and Thailand together. Bett and I couldn't go, but that was one trip that I would have really loved to go on. If it weren't for business trips, Aric would prefer not to go to any Asian countries...except for maybe Japan and Taiwan. I, on the other hand, want to visit all the Asian countries-Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc..
This year, the girls and I are cruising the Mexican Riviera...for seven days! WOO-HOO!
I can't tell you how many times I've heard people ask, "And Aric's letting you go?" Letting me??? *wrinkle brow* ...not only is he "letting" me, but he's taking all next week off from work to stay home and watch the baby. How you like THEM apples?! =D

Tonight was relaxing. I made dinner and Aric and I popped in the "Iron Monkey" DVD. We had to pause or rewind the movie a few times because the telephone would ring or Ashlyn would block the TV with her big head. I really liked the movie. It had the same running/floating on rooftops as "Crouching Tiger...", but the fight sequences were more intense. Donnie Yen...*yowza!*
That's about it. I had this dull pounding in my head for most of the day. Going to bed early. G'nite!

Ooooh, Ashlyn's evil-eye!
(don't let her angelic face fool you...she can get quite tempermental at times)

Ahhh, that's more like it
