This morning Grace called to see if Ashlyn and I wanted to go shopping with her and her girls. I ran some errands and bought some groceries before heading over to Grace's. We loaded the kids into Grace's car and went to South Coast Plaza. Nordstrom's was having a huge half-yearly sale, and that place was super crowded! I know it's Veteran's Day, and some people don't have to work, but it really shocked me to see sooooooo many people at the mall today!

We bought shoes for Ashlyn and Lauren. Ashlyn got a pair of Stride Rite "Emily" T-strap shoes. It was a little pricier than what I had intended to spend, but it's far better in quality than Ashlyn's clunky Keds sneakers...and Ashlyn looked so cute in 'em! =)
After fighting our way out of the Kids Shoe department, we had a late lunch at Nordstrom Cafe.

Grace and I walked around Nordstroms some more, and before we knew it, it had gotten pretty late. With three lil' ones, I realized that we couldn't get much shopping done. Between stopping to eat, feeding the lil' ones, and potty breaks, there's not enough time to check out all the sales. Regardless, it was fun and gave us a chance to get out of the house.

We hit afternoon traffic on the way home. All three lil' one's were knocked out in the backseat and it gave Grace and I chance to talk. Ashlyn slept for a long time...the whole way back to Grace's, our car ride home, and another couple of hours at home! Whoa!...she must've been TIRED!

For dinner I tried this pumpkin soup recipe. I still have a lot of pumpkin left. It was really easy and the soup was quite tasty...a puree of potato, pumpkin, onion, shallots, garlic, and spices served with a dollop of sour cream. Mmmmm! =D

After watching "Dateline", we took a big bowl of soup over to Grace's . Yeah, aren't I a nice friend? hehehe
Aric, Ashlyn, and stopped off at Target and Foster's Freeze on our way home.
Today was a long day and I'm exhausted! G'nite!
