HAPPY NEW YEARS!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ANN!

Your past year was filled with so many exciting and wonderful changes!
May your birthday and 2003 bring you much much more! Big Hugs!

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY to Lauren!

Every year past, Aric and I would spend New Year's Day sleeping in and watching the Rose Parade. This year we had a chance to see Pasadena's Tournament of Roses Parade live! My father-in-law got us kickass tickets...third row seats on Colorado Avenue! AND we didn't have to camp out like tons of other people.

But because Aric and I didn't get to bed until 4am, and had to be up an hour later....the day was extremely brutal. We parked about 5 or 6 long blocks way from the parade route, and walked in the freezing cold (41 degrees). Most of the morning was that cold, and I think it started to warm up after the parade was over. The parade was amazing. But toward the last few floats, I was ready to leave. My poor butt felt as though it froze and permanently stuck to the bleacher seats. =( I don't enjoy cold weather at all. I rather be hot than cold.

We ate lunch in Artesia with my father-in-law and Netty. Aric, Ashlyn, and I were pretty out of it most of the day. Once we got home, we spent the rest of the day napping. Wey came over for a late dinner and hung out for a bit.

I'm still working on uploading my December trip journals. Sorry it's taking so long....it's been pretty hectic around here. =/

*YAWN!* I'm still tired and my lower back is bothering me. Going to bed early. G'nite!

Peg's Top Five Resolutions:
1) Exercise
2) Save money
3) Floss daily
4) Cook at home and avoid eating-out
5) Don't procrastinate
