Today Ashlyn and I had lunch with Grace, Lauren, and Taylor at Vie de France in South Coast Plaza. Grace wanted to find a dress for her cousin's wedding and to pick up some gifts for her relatives. We walked around the mall for a couple of hours and she got most of her shopping done. I picked up a lip brush at Sephora.

Taylor's getting so big!...she's 9 months now. She crawling, pulling herself to a standing postition, eats solids, and starting to "talk" a lot. She's so smiley and has such a great demeanor. She's really cute!
I notice that Ashlyn plays better with Taylor than Lauren. With Lauren, Ashlyn becomes more aggressive. It's Grab-n-Grabbier. They have fun too...like Ashlyn will laugh whenever Lauren laughs (even though she doesn't know what she's laughing at or about). With Taylor, Ashlyn almost takes on the "big sister" role. Ashlyn's really gentle, sweet, and generous with Taylor. She likes to pat Taylor and get in her face and make her smile. She's aways aware and careful of where Taylor is. The different interactions she has with different individuals just amazes me. My friend, Juana, thinks Ashlyn's ready for a sibling. Yeah, we'll work on it. *blush* hehehe

I think Ashlyn caught Aric's cold. Her nose started running this afternoon. *Ugh* I took her home shortly after, put her down for a nap, and relaxed a bit.

Tonight Aric, Ashlyn, and I met up with my in-laws, Patrick, Aric's grandmother, and Aric's aunt for dinner in Rowland Heights. We ate at China Buffet. It was aiight...bit on the greasy and salty side. I was there for the company rather than the food.

Got home before 10:30pm, gave Ashlyn some Robitussun, and put her to bed. G'Nite!
