at the Marketplace

Ahhhh, what an eventful day. I'm so tired! In brief, Aric, Ashlyn, and I ran some errands this morning, had lunch at Daphne's Greek Cafe in the Marketplace, looked at plants at Green Thumb Nursery in Lake Forrest, walked through a couple of Model Homes in Quail Hill (Laurel & Ivywreath...neither of which we liked better than our house), hung out at James and Grace's, went to Laguna Beach with James, Grace, and the kiddies, drove around Laguna Hills, had a quiet dinner at home, gave Ashlyn a bath, jumped in the shower, watched some TV, then went to bed early. Ashlyn was so tired she barely touched her dinner, and putting her to bed was a breeze.

The hot weather and frolicking in the surf completely drained us. I think I was ready to crash out before dinner...but I still had things to do. I had to drop in a load of laundry because we had brought back a ton of sand in our clothes. *Ugh!* Clean the family room and dump pictures off my camera.

All in all, it was a funfilled day. Because of the long weekend, I kept thinking today was Sunday. hehehe At least we have tomorrow to unwind (hopefully). =)
