This morning I woke up to the sound of heavy rain. I peeked out the window and the downpour was incredible. It came down hard and heavy...and it stopped as quickly as it began. Weird. The rest of the day was super hot.

Ashlyn, Sonny, and I had lunch at L&L's in Costa Mesa. I bought some groceries at Marukai, then we began house hunting for Sonny in the Rowland Heights area. We viewed about 4 or 5 homes before calling it a day. Some of the places we looked at today weren't bad at all. Decent homes on huge lots for a fair price. He's keeping an open mind and would like to check out some other areas.

We got back before the pest control guy can over. He applied gel to problem areas...and after an hour, I had more ants than before! But after a few hours, they finally went away.

Tonight I made shabu shabu for dinner. It was my first time and it turned out pretty good. We had so much food that we decided to pass on the udon.

Emily came over tonight. We watched an old rerun of "Smallville", "Law and Order: SVU", and some Forensics/FBI show on Discovery.

Usually after Ashlyn goes to bed, it's my time to relax and tend to my own stuff. Tonight however, I dozed off while watching TV, and woke up at 2:30am feeling super jipped! I guess I was really tired. *POO!* =P
